Holi, the festival of colours, was celebrated all over the country in India and other parts of the World on Friday. It signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive.
The foreign cricketers, especially, like this festival as they love the excitement among the Indian people who celebrate almost every occasion in an enthusiastic way.
While the world celebrated ‘Holi’, Australia’s champion all-rounder Ellyse Perry and England’s star batter took to Twitter to wish their fans on the auspicious occasion.
Perry wrote, “Happy Holi to everyone in India and looking forward to leaving tomorrow for our tour over there! #Holi2018”
